By placing an order through the Website, the customer ("User" or "Customer") acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
1. Scope
The Website offers spare parts and accessories for vehicles, including components for scooters and classic vehicles.
These Terms apply to all purchases made online through the Website by both private consumers and business customers, unless otherwise specified during the purchasing process.
2. Products and Availability
The images and descriptions of the products displayed on the Website are provided for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual products in terms of colour, dimensions, or minor details.
Product availability is displayed on the Website but is not guaranteed until the order has been confirmed. Should a product become unavailable after an order has been placed, the Customer will be promptly informed and may choose between waiting for the product to become available, receiving a replacement product, or obtaining a full refund.
3. Prices
All prices displayed on the Website are expressed in Euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs, where applicable, are displayed separately before the order is confirmed.
MEC.EUR reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the price applied to the order shall always be the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Purchasing Procedure and Order Confirmation
The User selects the desired products and adds them to the shopping cart.
Before confirming the order, the User may review and correct any information entered.
The order shall be deemed concluded once payment has been successfully completed and the Customer has received an order confirmation email.
MEC.EUR reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of anomalies, including but not limited to obvious pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
5. Payment Methods
Payment may be made using the methods available at checkout (such as credit/debit card, bank transfer, PayPal, or any other payment methods enabled on the Website).
Payment information is processed through secure payment gateways and is never stored by MEC.EUR.
6. Shipping and Delivery
The shipping times indicated on the Website are estimates only and begin from the order confirmation date or the receipt of payment.
MEC.EUR shall not be liable for delays caused by the courier or by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
Upon delivery, Customers are requested to inspect the package carefully and report any visible damage directly to the courier.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005) and the applicable European legislation governing distance selling, consumer Customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without providing any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date on which they physically receive the product.
7.1 Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send an unequivocal written notice (by email to info@meceur.com) within the above-mentioned period, specifying the order number and the products concerned.
7.2 Returning the Product
The product must be returned within 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal notice was sent.
Returned products must be complete, unused, undamaged and, where possible, returned in their original packaging together with all accessories and documentation.
Unless otherwise agreed or in the case of defective or incorrectly supplied products, the cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer.
The Customer shall be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.
7.3 Refund
MEC.EUR will refund all payments received, including the original standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the receipt of the withdrawal notice or from receipt of the returned goods (whichever occurs first, where applicable).
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used by the Customer, unless otherwise agreed.
7.4 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Products made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised;

Products which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once opened after delivery;

Mechanical or electrical components that have been installed or used on a vehicle where such installation or use prevents them from being resold as new.
8. Defective, Incorrect or Damaged Products
If the Customer receives a product that is defective, damaged during transport, or different from the one ordered, they must contact MEC.EUR within 8 days of delivery by emailing info@meceur.com, enclosing photographs of both the product and the defect.
In such cases, the return shipping costs and the replacement of the product (or the corresponding refund) shall be borne entirely by MEC.EUR.
9. Legal Warranty of Conformity
All products sold to consumers are covered by the 24-month legal warranty of conformity provided under the Italian Consumer Code for defects existing at the time of delivery.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or incorrect installation.
10. Limitation of Liability
MEC.EUR shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the improper use of purchased products, including installation carried out by unqualified personnel.
Installation by qualified technicians is strongly recommended, particularly for components affecting the safety and operation of the vehicle.
11. Privacy
Personal data provided by Customers shall be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

12. Amendments to the Terms
MEC.EUR reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
Any amendments shall not apply to orders that have already been confirmed prior to the publication of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy.
For disputes involving consumer Customers, jurisdiction shall lie with the court of the Customer's place of residence or domicile, provided that it is located in Italy.
For business Customers, the Court of Lodi (Italy) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
